The Last Leg

Soon Hock is on the last leg on his great South West Road Trip. The weather has been amazing, with spectacular view and fun of 9 in the scale of 10.

Currently in Cardiff staying put for the last journey back to York..

However, he has a tale to tell, that of spectacular views and destinations, one of arthurian legends, one of cornish delights as well as amazing North Indian cuisine.

Day 1: York-Harrogate(Gardens)-Bradford(Kashmir Curry House)-Nottingham

Day 2: Nottingham-Derby(Alton Towers)-Conventry

Day 3: Conventry-Stratford Upon Avon(Shakespeare)-Birmingham(the First Keow Teow in a few months!)-Bristol

DAy 4: Bristol-Dartmouth(Ferry and spectacular moon on the seas)-Plymouth(Port Town)

Day 5: Plymouth-Par-Truro-Panzeance-Land's End(Conquering the most western tip of Britain before the Atlantic)-Portreath Bunk House

Day 6: Portreath Bunk House-A Certain Cornish Cider Farm(Scrumpys)-Newquay(Homemade Cornish Ice Cream)-Padstow(the famous, out of the world Rick Stein's Fish and Chips)-Tintagel(Re-living the Arthurian Legend and getting wowed by the mystical surroundings)-Cardiff

Day 7: was in town for the Cardiff Malaysian Games

Bay 8: Hopefully, Cardiff Castle, Millenium Stadium and Cardiff Bay!

with 7 days of spectacular experience and 7 days of wind shield in the car, Soon Hock has found it hard to adapt to the British gale winds and felt crippled as there is a need to walk.

More is yet to come from a certain digital SLR..Signing off for now..

the 3 stages and the lost 2/3rds...

its no fun being 6000 miles away from home being sick and down...cooking your own sorry porridge..
but eventually after 3 stages have passed, you get to where you want to be..
in my case, i wont stay down...

For BN, they might as well stay down and get hit by a brick... Samy oh Samy...serves them right!

A New Year, A New Episode

first of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
Chinese New Year may be muted in the UK, but nevertheless, it's still that time of the year....

maybe not for some BBC bitch though, they're prolly more "british"

secondly, this was cooked sometime a fortnight ago, "how you remind me" of the good times..

and the most important of all, Colin Lim Yang Sir, my tributes to one of my best mates.. a drunkard, a hero, a villian, a champion, A VERY-RELIABLE-BE-THERE-IN-5 MINS-TO-BACK-U-UP-NO-MATTER-WHAT-EVEN-IN-3-IN-THE-MORNING-FRIEND... my tributes..

leaving for the a journey, an adventure, BEST WISHES from me, not best of luck, because i know you'll do it eventually..(regardless of luck) ^^

My new year res on the 3/1/08 ... just spills it all out..

maybe not resolution, too strong of a word....

1. quit being a wreck
2. eat well sleep well (quit alternating time zones in a spot), put ON weight.. unorthodox.. YES!
3. quit wasting time, be more efficient
4. take a breather
5. have more shots and beer.. steal some pint glasses
6. oktoberfest
7. eurotrip
8. get a part time job for an aust roadtrip
9. do not spend so much time online doing shits
10. pull with no strings attached
11. collect anything that seems rare and unique...

i imagine only 25% gets done eventually...

with a tendency to NOT CHALLENGE THE THEORY OF MIND OVER MATTER
